The Fourways Building
Our highly successful community newspaper is produced every 8 weeks and distributed to every household and business in Amble. Produced by volunteers with the Trust's media development worker, the paper has been running since January 2000 and is acknowledged as a popular and influential community resource.
The Development Trusts Association has recognised The Ambler as an inspiration in community enterprise throughout the country.
The Ambler's hyperlocal website has become Amble's premier online resource for news, events and comment on the Friendliest Port. The site has been running since early 2000 and to our knowledge is the oldest hyperlocal website in the country. Updated usually on a daily basis.

Artograffi is the name given to the group of young people who produce the young people's section of The Ambler. Aged from nine upwards, the youngsters come along every week to write, draw, photograph and work on the layout for their section of the paper. The group have changed over the years; some of the original Artograffi group are now at university!
